  1. You need 2 cup of basmati rice.
  2. You need 1 of small raw chicken.
  3. You need 3 of chopped onions.
  4. Prepare 4 of grinded tomatoes.
  5. You need 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
  6. It's 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
  7. It's 4 cup of water.
  8. You need to taste of salt.
  9. You need 1/4 tsp of deggi mirch.
  10. You need 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  11. You need 1 tsp of chicken masala.
  12. You need 1 tsp of garam masala.
  13. You need 1 of bay leaf.
  14. You need 2 of cloves.
  15. You need 2 tbsp of mustard oil.
  16. You need of water according to need.

Chicken Biryani step by step

  1. Wash & rinse the rice with fresh water & soak for 20 minutes..
  2. Wash the chicken properly. Add oil in a karahi,when it heatsup,add cumin seeds,cloves & bay leaf,cook till aroma smells away..
  3. Now add chopped onions & ginger garlic paste, Cook till they become golden brown. Now add all the ingredients & saute for few seconds..
  4. Add tomato puree & cook till oil spreads from corners. Now add chicken pieces & cook on low flame..
  5. When they half cooked,dry the water,take out the water from rice & add them with 4 cup of water..
  6. Cover it & cook on low flame for 20 minutes..
  7. Switch off the flame & serve hot..
