- You need 1 kg of chicken.
- You need 1/2 kg of Basmati Rice.
- Prepare 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
- It's 2 of potatoes.
- Prepare of Biryani masala packet half.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Oil.
- Prepare pinch of Orange colour.
- It's of Onion 2 large cut into thin slices.
- It's 2 of tomatoes.
- It's 1/2 cup of yougart.

- Soak rice in water for half an hour...
- In pan add oil fry onion then add ginger garlic paste & chicken pieces & fry it for 5min.add tomatoes.mix biryani masala in yougart & add in chicken masala...
- Boil potatoes till it half done peel it & cut it into square & add in chicken masala cook it on medium flame for 10 min bhoonify it till oil separates..
- In big pot add 8 glasses of water when it boils add soaked rice in it. Add 2 Tsp heaped salt boil rice till it half cooked drain it in strainer...
- In another pot add 1st layer of rice then add cooked chicken then again layer of rice sprinkle orange food colour..& put it on dum on low flame gor 10 min....and serve.
