Malbar Chicken Biryani step by step

  4. Rice :- Soak the rice for half an hour. Heat oil in a vessel add dalchini,laung, cardamoms, staranise, fennel seeds saute for a min add rice stir it then add water 1 inch above the rice, add salt and cover and cook till rice is done. Fluff up the rice with a fork.
  5. Assembling:- Grease a heavy bottom pan add the chicken masala then add some fried onions, chopped coriander and mint leaves, cashewnuts & raisins. Then add the cooked rice on top of the chicken masala.
  6. Sprinkle saffron colour, fried onions, chopped coriander and mint leaves and cashewnuts. Cover it with a lid and keep it on a tawa for dum on medium flame for 15 to 20 mins or till steam comes out. While serving garnish with fried onions.
