Ingredients of Chicken Tikka Biryani
- It's 750 gms of Sella rice.
- You need of Whole spices (bay leaves, cinnamon, black pepper,cumin).
- It's of Salt as required.
- Prepare 1 kg of chicken.
- Prepare 4 tbsp of ghee.
- Prepare 1 cup of oil.
- Prepare 1.5 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- You need 1 cup of Brown onion.
- It's 2 of medium chopped onion.
- You need 3-4 of potatoes.
- You need 8 of green chillies.
- Prepare 4 of tomatoes chopped.
- Prepare 1/2 bunch of coriander leaves.
- Prepare 1/4 bunch of mint leaves.
- You need 1 packet of Tikka masala.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Garam masala powder.
- It's 1/4 tsp of Jaifal jawatri powder.
- It's 1 cup of yougurt.
- You need 1 tbsp of kewra water.
- It's of Few drops Yellow colour.
- You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- You need 6 of Cloves.
- Prepare 4 of cardamon.
- Prepare 2 of star anise.
Chicken Tikka Biryani instructions
- Soaked Sella rice for 2 hours then boil with whole spices and salt. Don't boil completely..
- Now for the gravy heat oil add chopped onion and fry them until light golden colour now add whole spices mentioned above..
- Add chicken, ginger garlic paste, tikka masala, tomatoes and bhunify it well..
- Add water so chicken cooks completely..
- Now add potatoes, garam masala, Jaifal jawatri powder, green chilli and mix well.
- Cook for about 10 mins..
- Now add brown onion and yougurt and bhunify it well until oil comes on top..
- Turn off flame..
- Take pateeli add 2 tbsp oil or ghee,add half of the rice and biryani masala,coriander, mint leaves and again rice..
- Now mix kewra water with orange food colour..
- And pour over the rice and add 2 tbsp ghee on top..
- Place your rice on dum for about 15 mins..
