Ingredients of Chicken Biryani
- You need 2 cups of Basmati Rice.
- Prepare 10 of or more Chicken pieces.
- You need Cup of yoghurt.
- It's Tablespoon of garlic ginger paste.
- Prepare 1 handful of Coriander leaves.
- You need 2 tablespoons of Garam Masala.
- It's 2 of medium sized onions.
- It's Teaspoon of turmeric or food coloring.
Chicken Biryani step by step
- Soak and wash Basmati rice. Parboil rice with some whole spices and keep aside.
- Fry onions until brown. Remove 3/4 of the onions. Add garlic ginger paste. Add chicken cutlets and Garam masala and fry. Add the blended scotch bonnets and tomatoes. Fry. Add the yoghurt and fry until the oil is on top to make a chicken curry..
- Lastly is layering. Add half of the rice in a clean pot. Add the chicken curry and sprinkle fried onions and coriander leaves. Add another layer of rice and curry and then onions with coriander. Sprinkle a cup of soaked turmeric water.
- Cover tightly and cook on low heat until done..
